When borders reopen, have you contemplated taking your incentive trip across the Tasman?  Sonja Soderbom, Director, Destination Management, Ovation Australia has been taking international clients to New Zealand for incentives for more than 15 years. She has just confirmed a 200 pax incentive program for Auckland in October 2021.
Why choose New Zealand?

New Zealand is a natural wonder of beauty with incredible landscapes and so many amazing and different destinations on offer there is definitely something for everyone.
TREAT There are so many awesome experiences you could have in New Zealand but my top two are: a day trip to Waiheke Island, transferring across by helicopter, landing on the vineyard grounds for an incredible wine tasting experience; and Shotover Jet in Queenstown, an adrenaline-packed activity that is perfect for all group sizes.
EAT My favourite restaurant is The French Café in Auckland, a decadent fine dining experience, great for a dine around or a private dinner; and you can’t go past the Auckland Museum for a truly memorable gala event which should include feature performances and a spine-tingling haka.
MEET We love to push the envelope and it always makes it easier when your partners are so accommodating especially when working outside of their normal scope of work. We have created some wonderful incentives in New Zealand so want to shout out Ngāi Tahu Tourism, Real Journeys, and of course the bureaus in Auckland, Queenstown and Wellington to name a few who go above and beyond to support and assist with our requests.
SLEEP There are some great new hotels coming online in NZ which I can’t wait to see, like the Park Hyatt Auckland. Currently my ‘go-to’s with confidence when thinking of room styling and consistent delivering on incentives and events are the Sofitel Queenstown and Cordis Auckland, but when the group size is right you can’t go past the amazing lodges like Matakauri Lodge or Huka Lodge for those true VIP or high-end incentives.

Is it time for you to take your thinking somewhere new?
