Day 2 - Auckland

On the Water

Spend the morning on Auckland’s Waitemata Harbour. Experience an exhilarating jet boat tour of the city’s coastline, explore by kayak, charter a 50ft monohull yacht with Pride of Auckland, or venture into the expansive Hauraki Gulf as part of a whale and dolphin safari.

Adrenaline and Adventure

Enjoy lunch on Auckland’s waterfront and then prepare for action. There are plenty of activities to choose from; climb the Auckland Harbour Bridge on a guided tour, bungy jump from the jump pod suspended beneath the bridge, or travel to the Sky Tower to SkyWalk around its 192-metre-high walkway, or SkyJump from it. For an off-road experience, 4 Track Adventures offers half-day quad bike safaris on rugged Muriwai Beach, west of Auckland.

Dinner and Drinks

After a busy day, it’s time to unwind. The central city has restaurants catering to all tastes and group sizes, while Ponsonby is packed full of stylish bars, all within a stone’s throw of each other.

You can discover the caves on a guided walking and boat tour or on a ‘black water rafting’ tour. Black water rafting involves navigating the underground rivers that flow through the cave system by inflatable rubber inner tube.

From the caves, board your coach and travel onwards to the geothermal city of Rotorua for an evening of relaxation.

Rejuvenate at the Polynesian Spa

Enjoy a leisurely dinner in central Rotorua before heading to the prestigious Polynesian Spa to relax and unwind. The spa offers a choice of 26 hot mineral bathing pools and an enticing array of spa therapies.
