DAY ONE

The View From Above

Start your morning departing the Taupo Boat harbour by floatplane for a scenic flight above the town centre of Taupo before heading across the lake to the world heritage listed Tongariro National Park. Fly past one of the countries newest active volcanic areas, the Te Mari crater on Mt Tongariro and view Mt Ruapehu’s stunning crater lake.

Cruise New Zealand’s Largest Freshwater Lake

Board your private charter yacht or launch for a relaxing afternoon cruise along the shores of Great Lake Taupo. Disembark and paddle your kayak to get an up close view of the famous Maori Rock Carvings.

Throw a fishing line out on the way back to try and catch one of the local Rainbow trout.  Sample your freshly caught trout either on the BBQ or as sashimi onboard while enjoying a glass of award winning New Zealand wine.

DAY TWO

Jetboats & Geothermal

Heli Lunch in the Kaimanawa’s

Be whisked away from your geothermal experience by helicopter and head south to search for the famous Kaimanawa Wild Horses. Enjoy a sensational silver service lunch beside a secluded river surrounded by beautiful native bush, or perhaps sample some back country fly fishing with your personal fishing guide.

Explore the world of Prawns

Take a guided tour through the pioneering Prawn Hatchery and Nursery where millions of baby prawns are produced and reared each year. After your private fishing lesson, experience the thrill of landing the fiesty prawn yourself, before relaxing with a cold drink and ‘bucket’of fresh water prawns.

International Golf & Sanctuary

Visit a world class championship golf course for a round of golf, immersed in the naturaul beauty of a wildlife sanctuary. Or for more of a challenge try the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at nearby Kinloch.

Natural Thermal Springs

Spend the afternoon relaxing in the rejuvenating and mineral enriched thermal pools at the base of magnificent silica terraces. Enjoy a traditional hot stone massage to finish the afternoon.
